Meet the Photographer

My name is Michaela Caparco and I am a born and raised Rhode Islander currently living on a ranch in Western Nebraska. I’ve worked lots of jobs and lived lots of places throughout the last 7 years, and the only constants on my journey have been photography and my dog, April. I’ve loved photography since my dad introduced me to it when I was 10 years old. My first camera was a Canon PowerShot D10 that I took on many underwater adventures before it finally succumbed to our backyard pool. I grew up loving ocean photography, and as I got older I found a love for surf photography, and then eventually all lifestyle photography. I’ve experimented with many different styles over the years and struggled to find one to pursue for a career. I no longer focus on staying in a niche but instead I shoot what makes me excited and where I feel I can tell a story.

Most of my photography these days is for my partner and I’s brand, 11 Seasons, an outdoor gear and apparel company we run out of our home in Western Nebraska. Recently, I have been working on telling the story of the midwest, and the small town of 30 people that I now call home, through my photography. So much of where I live now goes unseen and is misunderstood, and my first print collection “Fly Over States Part 1” aims to give people a new perspective on the region. I am already planning my next print collection and I hope to continue to create and offer art with a story.

Besides that, I am always happy to pick up my camera for a family session, to document love, or to capture an adventure. Where photography takes me, I will gladly go, and I am open to discuss booking sessions, documenting adventures, or doing commercial work for brands. Thank you for being here, and reach out with any questions! - Michaela
